Oliver's Pheasants Nest - Southbound in New South Wales

"Well, very nice to have an olivers on the way to Batemans Bay. Nice complex with lots going on but Olivers have a nice spot in the south end. Loved the Ollie burger, my new favourite."

"I travel from the border of NSW and Vic to Sydney every couple of weeks. You get over "fast food" quickly. A staff member, Zara served me the first time. I remember her name as she is the reason I've been returning. Her service and recommendations after asking what food I like, was outstanding. When you remember a servers name, you know they did something right. It's been two weeks since I was last here and Zara remembered both me and what I ordered. Ultimately, the friendly service, smiles, desire to help and overwhelmingly positive attitude of all the staff is somewhat infectious. Looking at the menu, you see a small range of items but thus far, what I've eaten has exceeded my expectations. These two are my favourite thus far: - The Butter chicken is spicy but blends well with flavours, not overpowering the taste with (spice) heat. - The Peri Peri Chicjen burger is full of flavour and the sauce combines extremely well with the ingredients of the burger. * Get one of their cookies in the case in-between the registers. After asking a number of people who have eaten next to me, what they think about their meals is following. The Beef burger is "mmm yum". The chips are good. The sandwich isn't soggy and tastes nice. This is not fast food when compared to the big chain 'restaurants', but the wait is worth it. I've read all the reviews posted. The 1 star reviews for a bad food experience. Speak to the staff, they're amazing and would have helped you. If it's bad, they'll fix it for you. * I added cheese to the burger. It's good with or without it. It might look messy but it tastes amazing."

"Great food and I feel so much better than if I ate from any of those fast food places. Our government should be subsidising places like Oliver’s and increasing taxes on the rubbish takeaways. Everything Oliver’s does costs them more. For example they even have real salt."

"This is my go-to stop when travelling to Canberra. Nice to have healthy options when travelling. Excellent service today - I was promptly alerted that there was an issue with my order and offered a substitute instead as I wasn't able to wait. I was even given a bonus item for the inconvenience. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Moroccan veggies."

"It's the only place with gluten free meals. In fact most of the menu items can be optioned for GF. Surprisingly, you can't tell from the self-ordering menu, but clearly marked on the main board. Just order at the counter. It's easier and the staff are friendly."
